My experience

As a counsellor and psychotherapist, I specialize in a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and self-acceptance. I have successfully worked with both adult and adolescent clients using Cognitive Therapy (CT) and Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT) techniques to help them identify unhealthy thinking patterns and emotions that affect their behavior.

Previously, I worked as a High-Intensity Therapist within the NHS's Psychological Wellbeing Service (IAPT), and currently. I also worked as a counsellor at Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge. Additionally, I have been running my private practice since 2017.

My experience extends beyond my private practice, including volunteer work at numerous charities and supervised volunteer counselling at Cambridge Regional College for several years. I have also held various workshops for businesses, the NHS, and Cambridge University, focusing on mindfulness and stress reduction.

In addition to Cognitive Therapy (CT) and Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT), I also incorporate Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) into my practice. These approaches help clients cultivate self-compassion, develop mindfulness skills, and take committed action towards their values.
